Here’s the perspective of the proposed 21-storey Avida Tower Centrio Residential Condominium project of Ayala Land to be located at the back of the under construction Centrio Mall and Hotel.

The proposed high-rise building is set for construction in September 2012. By that time, the Mall and Hotel are already completed. The proposed site is currently occupied by the field office and workers canteen located at the back of the complex.

Meanwhile, Dahilayan Adventure Park will be building a series of cable ropeways that will transport guests between different venues. Among them will be Swiss made chairlifts and gondolas (cable cars) which will shuttle riders above the forest canopy. This will be the first in the Philippines to be used in an eco adventure venue.

 
The Macanhan flyover is said to be inaugurated in November 2011 or exactly just about time of the 120 calendar days stipulated in the contract.

As shown, concreting works on atop the flyover structure is ongoing. However, there is much work to be done on the eastern approach as filling and concreting works need to be undertaken as shown below. The Recto-Velez flyover was finally inaugurated this morning.

City officials led by City Mayor Vicente Emano led the simple ceremonial drive through atop the flyover amid heavy traffic during rush hour. There was initially heavy traffic at the start but slowly eased up as time went by as more vehicles began using the flyover. As observed, new traffic lights were installed right at the side of the flyover

 
The rendering of the 10-storey Tune Hotel is finally out. The hotel will rise soon along CM Recto Avenue at the former fuel refilling station beside the old Coca-Cola Bottling Plant.

Per info, it will have 162 rooms with a gross floor area of 4,452 sq.m. with a 275 sq.m. retail component at the ground floor. As shown below, target opening will be in October 2012.

The entry of Tune Hotel is the second foreign-owned hotel investment in Cagayan de Oro, the first being the Korean-owned Hotel Koresco.
 
Cebu-based Ocean Fast Ferries, Inc. or OceanJet is now serving the direct Cagayan de Oro-Camiguin route and vice-versa.
