Each PV element utilizes triple-junction thin film solar cells made from amorphous silicio. In each cell the blue green and red light of the sun is absorbed in different layers of the cell yielding unprecedented performance. This light spectrum splitting capability is the key to higher efficiency especially at lower insulation level and under diffused light conditions.
Shadow reduction System
During the hottest hours of the day the sun's radiations don't hit the window surfaces directly. The Shelters, which surround the entire facade of the building, protect the window surfaces producing shadows on them. Thus the internal unit temperature decreases.
